Subject: Favorite Greek 9/11
I love this show. Jerry's playing in the second set is fantastic. This is one of my favorite Dew's along with 4/28/71, 2/28/73, 9/2/80, 8/12/81 and 12/31/81. There is also one of the (many) great versions of He's Gone and Franklin's too is enjoyable at least. Not to be overlooked is an excellent jam out of a solid Truckin' for '81...
For what it's worth, this was the best run at the most beautiful venue and Jerry was at his post '77 pinnacle. 1982 on left me aching for the Donna years. Jerry was trashed by the end of that year.

9/12/81 set 1 is recommended, 9/13 same thing

Subject: Long sets
Long sets great sound.I love the 81 shows to bad was not on board full time till the next year.I listen to these greeks and oregon along with long beach shows and wish I were on board already. Great jams before rythm devils and great space just good old fashion raw Dead.
